Getting to Newman University

All sessions will take place at Newman University, Bartley Green, Birmingham.

We will be providing coaches from the Birmingham Bull Ring Travelodge to Newman University, as getting there by public transport can be difficult. Delegates staying in other hotels in central Birmingham are welcome to join us on the coach – the hotel is centrally located quite near to New Street and Moor Street railway stations.

If you do need to make your own way to Newman via public transport, the simplest option is to catch the 22 bus, which runs from Broad Street in central Birmingham to Bartley Green via Harborne every 10 minutes or so during the day – for details, see the National Express West Midlands website. Further details of public transport options for Newman are available at our website. If you are taking a taxi, make sure you ask for Newman University in Bartley Green (there are some other buildings named after Cardinal Newman in Birmingham!).

Directions for travel by car and SatNav co-ordinates can also be found at our website. On arrival, follow signs to the visitors’ car park and press the buzzer to tell Reception why you are visiting Newman, and they will raise the barrier for you. If the visitors’ can park is full, you may need to park in the student car park, which is next to it.

Delegates are welcome to leave luggage etc. at Reception while they are on site.
